The 12th TRB National Transportation Planning Applications Conference will be held at the beautiful Hyatt Regency in downtown Houston, Texas on May 17-21, 2009. The Conference begins on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. and will ends at noon on Thursday.

Group of rooms are being held at the Hyatt Regency for people attending the Applications Conference at the current Federal per diem rate of $110 (single or double) plus state and federal taxes and a special rate of $89 for TXDOT and MPO’s representatives from Texas. The hotel rate is available until April 16, 2009. See Hotel Reservations.

The Conference goal is to provide an outlet for new techniques and methods. The will emphasize practical, innovative, and timely technical and policy approaches to transportation planning through over 100 presentations and workshops during the five days.

Members, Friends of the Committee, the Houston-Galveston Area Council and the other host agencies invite you to join the other 400 transportation professional in Houston, Texas on May 17-21, 2009. The initial program will be posted prior to TRB in January 2009.
