Every other year since 1987, hundreds of transportation planners from around the country and abroad have gathered to celebrate their successes, lament their challenges and share their experience at TRB's National Transportation Planning Applications Conference (
www.trb-appcon.org).
The conference committee wants to invite you not only to attend but participate in the 13th conference next spring (May 8th-12th, 2011) in beautiful Reno, Nevada. The success of the conference depends on planners and engineers like you sharing their stories!
Therefore, the conference organizers are soliciting abstracts on any transportation planning topic, policy, procedural, or technical, including:

The conference will feature presentations chosen from abstract submittals that offer practical and innovative solutions to contemporary planning challenges. Please submit your abstracts of 350 words or less online at
www.trb-appcon.org prior to
September 15, 2010 and identify a general topic from the list above. Authors of accepted abstracts are encouraged but not required to prepare a complete paper. The abstract, presentation and paper will be posted online after the conference. Authors with best papers from the conference may be invited to re-present their paper in a session at the next TRB annual meeting.
